Blizzard has unveiled a significant update for Season 2, distinguishing it from previous seasonal resets by allowing Brann to retain his level from Season 1. Additionally, starting with Patch 11.1, Brann’s level cap will be elevated to 80. This enhancement enables players to preserve their progress with Brann and further develop him into a more formidable companion.
As Brann advances in level, he will unlock an array of valuable talents and passive abilities designed to support players effectively. In his DPS role, Brann will acquire skills such as interrupts, stuns, and damage enhancements. When fulfilling the Healer role, he will gain abilities to dispel debuffs, mitigate damage taken by players, and more. The increase in the level cap is expected to introduce new and exciting abilities, further expanding Brann’s utility. Moreover, the introduction of a Tank specialization for Brann will provide players with additional strategies to optimize their Delves runs, offering greater flexibility and enhancing overall gameplay experience.

Enhanced Leveling for Brann and Important Season 2 Updates
For players who have yet to reach level 60 with Brann, Blizzard has introduced measures to streamline the leveling process. The required experience points for leveling up Brann have been reduced, enabling players to achieve level 60 more swiftly. This adjustment provides those who may have lacked the time or resources during Season 1 the chance to catch up and benefit from having a more powerful companion in Season 2.
While Brann’s progression will carry over into the new season, not all aspects of progress will be maintained. As previously mentioned, several in-game currencies, including Crests and Restored Coffer Keys, will reset with the onset of The War Within Season 2. Players are encouraged to finalize any pending transactions or resource management before the new season begins to avoid losing valuable assets.
